Expect a jam-packed line-up of, blues, folk, rock, bluegrass and classical and contemporary music for guitar aficionados across the borough!

The Ards International Guitar Festival is back with a bang in April 2025 with a fresh new programme of guitar inspired gigs, free fringe events, guitar clinics with industry professionals and exhibitions!

Festival highlights

Full line-up and ticket sales will be announced on Thursday 20 February 2025.

Highlights of this year’s programme include Thin Lizzy frontman, Ricky Warwick, Unplugged and in conversation with BBC broadcaster Ralph McLean, internationally acclaimed and award winning Gary Lucas, viral sensation Luca Stricagnoli, and a night of soulful blues from the legendary Rob Strong to name but a few!

We will also host an extraordinary exhibition of portraits celebrating some of the word's most iconic guitarists captured through the lens of acclaimed photographer Scarlet Page which you won't want to miss!

And, as always, expect a line-up of fantastic, authentic homegrown talent, free fringe gigs, a classic artist brunch, all wrapped up with a Weekend Wind Down!
