Join us at St. Mark's Church, Newtownards, for an enchanting hour of classical guitar by two of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s rising young stars.
Dean Glynn is a classical guitarist from Wexford. He began lessons at age six with David Creevy in the County Wexford School of Music and now studies on the Bachelor of Music programme at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, having also attended the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland through Erasmus. He has performed at the Irish National Opera House and National Concert Hall, won major Feis Ceoil prizes, was a Maeve Broderick Prize finalist, and holds a Music for Wexford Bursary.
Alexander Krylov is a classical guitarist from Dublin, Ireland. After studying with Andrii Kryzhanivskii, and Marco Ramelli in the TUD Junior Conservatoire, he moved to Glasgow to study in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Alexander has taken part in many international competitions such as the Tino Andersen Guitar Competition 2024, CGR Festival competition in 2024, and Florence Guitar Festival 2020. He is currently working on a duo project with guitarist Luke Anderson, and a new programme for the next year of competitions.
