The festival welcomes back one of Ireland’s finest blues bands, The Grainne Duffy Band, with very special guests Ronnie Greer and Jimmy Smyth!

Described as ‘a blues singer of real integrity’ by The Sunday Times, Grainne Duffy delivers a performance that blends the real roots of the blues with a contemporary sound and an occasional Celtic undertone.

Grainne (winner of numerous awards in the field of blues music) has shared the stage with some of the luminaries of the blues world - artists such as Robben Ford, Little Feat, Billy Gibbons, Mavis Staples, Keb’ Mo’, Marc Ford and Eric Gales. Just last year, Grainne Duffy released her fifth album, Dirt Woman Blues, a collection that topped roots charts in the USA, Australia and the UK – as well as being named number five in the Best Blues Album rundown by Classic Rock magazine.

Backed by her powerhouse band and joined by some very special guests, local blues legend Ronnie Greer and accomplish guitarist Jimmy Smyth this is a night of blues not to be missed!
