Neil Ó Briain has gained a reputation as an excellent composer and arranger for the acoustic guitar. Hailing from Cork, he weaves a melody, bass and harmony together at ease and provides compelling performances.

Neil Ó Briain's music ranges from traditional Irish to contemporary fingerstyle, taking inspiration from artists such as Tony McManus, Tommy Emmanuel, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Neil’s arrangement and recording of Irish air ‘An Ghaoth Aneas’ (The South Wind) has been streamed on Spotify over 100,000 times. His second album of original material Achar was released in November 2021 and was followed in March 2022 by Tobar, an EP of five new arrangements of traditional Irish music.

It's always a delight to experience Neil's guitar work and to be dazzled by his musical agility and skill
