Taylor became enchanted with guitar and inspired by James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Marley, started writing her own songs and eventually attended BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music).
Taylor Lally grew up near Millisle in County Down. For Christmas 2011 she received her first guitar from her father who hoped she would carry on the family hobby of playing music.
She became enchanted with the instrument and inspired by James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Marley, started writing her own songs and eventually attended BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music). Since her return she has been busy performing in the Greater Belfast area where she recently received a standing ovation when opening for Mary Coughlan.
By February 2022 Taylor finally felt ready to release her first single 'Bliss-Less Musing Life', a warm and poignant reflection on her experiences whilst studying songwriting. She is currently in Dock Street Studios recording material for her debut album.
‘‘2022 is the start. I am finally just stepping into the world.” muses Taylor “After so many years of playing cover songs in bars, studying and writing, no words can describe how that feels".
