There’s quite a buzz about this band and they’re a must-see for Bob Dylan fans and lovers of Americana.
"Dylan and The Band, in the Big Pink basement, after a couple of bottles of red" – that’s how R2 Magazine describes the full-throttle, all-American sound of Tony Villiers and The Villains, now one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting and revered live acts.
As well as a few covers of rare and classic Bob Dylan songs, the band’s live set features a stack of originals, penned by Tony Villiers and brought to life by the top-drawer guitar genius Doc Doherty, the beats and master of swing, Aidan McGillion and the grooving classic bass stylings of Damien Sheils.
