David Browne Murray, Matthew Dowie and Matthew Hunter are three of Belfast’s ‘in demand’ guitarists who have fused their combined talents into an entertaining evening of jazz.
David Browne Murray is no stranger to Ards International Guitar Festival since his return from Berklee College of Music in 2011. He has toured with Frank Vignola and Vinnie Raniolo, Andy McKee, Gareth Pearson and in 2017 he had the privilege of opening for Tommy Emmanuel in a sold-out Ulster Hall.
Matthew Dowie started playing in Rock and Metal bands which led to a curiosity about Jazz. He has a degree in Music from Queens and is currently working towards a Masters.
Matthew Hunter has entertained in a wide range of Belfast venues including the Crescent Arts Centre, where he opened for Sky Arts Guitar Star winner Gary Lutton.
With influences ranging from Django Reinhardt to Daft Punk and John McLaughlin to Ennio Morricone, Two’s Company perform a unique blend of original material combined with exceptionally energetic arrangements of well known Gypsy Jazz and Funk!
