In a change from our usual Weekend Wind Down……this year we are just warming UP! Nothing beats the driving power of the Chicago Blues, and in the hands of the The Frank Carbery Blues Band, it’s a genre that delivers maximum impact.

In a change from our usual Weekend Wind Down……this year we are just warming UP – offering an uplifting and rousing afternoon performance at the Ivy before heading round to the Queens Hall for the evening and the headline gig of the festival: Ricky Warwick and the Fighting Hearts. And what better band to get things heated up than the Frank Carbery Blues Band? The boys are back - after a show-stealing performance at the festival in 2025!

With a repertoire ranging from up-tempo blues to more laid-back tunes, every song from The Frank Carbery Blues Band comes dripping with authentic Chicago feel.

Watch out for some original songs written by Frank, among a set list that will include classics from masters of the blues like Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Buddy Guy, B.B. King and many more. The band are Frank Carbery, Tony Furnell, Davy Bates and Gareth Hughes.
