American classical guitarist Miles McConnell is active both as an arranger and a performer, a role that has taken him to Spain, the U.K., and around the United States.
His solo guitar arrangements include works by Bach, Beethoven, Turina, and Mozart, as well as arrangements of film music and popular songs. These arrangements have been published by Musicnotes.
Miles McConnell holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Guitar Performance from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and has studied with some of the luminaries of classical guitar at universities across the United States - including lessons with legendary Spanish guitarist Pepe Romero at Oklahoma City University.
He has also participated in guitar workshops, conventions, and festivals across the world, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Arts Management at Queen’s University, Belfast.
